Ponds Cafe Darlington - ARRAWARRA

Formerly known as Cafe Flamingos, the restaurant is now under new management by the owner of Darlington Park. Unfortunately, it seems to have suffered in the transition. The dish of fish and chips was disappointing, with thin, dry fillets and not hot chips. The staff were friendly, but the overall dining experience was not up to par. I am hesitant to return after such a poor meal.

We’ve loved everything we’ve had at the Flamingos cafe in the last week. Great friendly staff wonderful food. They were also happy to give us the takeaway box for leftovers as well as our beautiful coffee we’ve had each morning

We stayed at the Darlington Beach Holiday Resort for 3 nights and had dinner at the restaurant every night. The food was great and there were plenty of choices. Staff were friendly and attentive and service was quick. There is a breakfast, lunch and dinner...menu with a Specials Board as well. Plus an all day menu and they can prepare food as a take-away. The restaurant is licenced and the drinks list has plenty on it. There are also cocktails available for $12. Everything is delicious.

My husband and I recently had dinner at this cafe. We both had the seafood salad. I was very good. We also had the home made brownies that are GF, these were so good we had to go back the next day. We thought the...prices were very reasonable. . We would definitely go out of our way to go back again.
