F.mclintocks Saloon Dining House

Not what is use to be I had really good memories of this place being the hot spot for breakfast when I was younger. I came in this morning for breakfast and sat at the bar. The place was empty which was strange I remembered it always being busy. I ordered coffee and water to start, the coffee was fine your basic mud in a cup. The menu was dirty and stained, my silverware was also dirty and I needed to get new ones. I order a veggie omelette that was poorly made, the cheese was half melted I hate that and the burnt bacon tasted like the griddle that hasn't been cleaned in weeks. The staff was nice enough but the food and the vibe was lacking to say the least.

Breakfast at Mcclintocks Arroyo Grande was a sad experience for a steak breakfast. Ordered sirloin, medium well. The waitress was great but the steak was shoe leather on one side and burned on the plate side. They only charged for the eggs and potatoes but made excuses that the cook was alone and too busy to notice what he served up. However, the cook made a distinct effort to make sure the burnt side was down. We have been repeat customers for years.

We went back in April around Easter. Good food and friendly staff. It was a busy night but we didn't have to wait long for our food. My husband asked if they did the blind folded water pour still because we had not been there since we were kids. They did it for my husband and poured the water into a cup on my husband's head. He got a little wet haha but it was fun and the crowd loved it. Just like I remember as a kid.

The food was really good. Used to come here when we were kids. The drinks are amazing! Get the margarita! You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to go back. Great service too!

Sad shell of the pre COVID restaurant. Food was less than basic. Poor service and poor. Food prep. A table next to us even returned their ****** Mary's because they were not drinkable. Mclintocks needs a new manager to revamp the food and staff.
