The waitress with a pouty lip who took our order had a lot of attitude. I understand that it was a busy day and my Asian father may have rushed her to take our order, but I have already spoken to him about it. If you want to roll your eyes, at least have the courtesy to do it behind our backs. She left without asking for our drink order. I don't even want to leave a tip, but there are other servers who are very friendly to us. The food is typical of Boiling Point - hearty, with delicious sauces - but you can find better service at other Boiling Point locations.
The restaurant is always overcrowded, resulting in poor service. There are many similar hot pot restaurants in the area, making it not worth the long wait. Despite available seating, customers are forced to wait in line outside, even in bad weather. The miso soup is overly salty and lacking in flavor. The service is subpar due to the busyness of the restaurant, leading to long wait times and lack of assistance with ordering. There are several other hot pot options nearby that offer similar quality. The prices have increased, making it more expensive, and the portion sizes have grown too large for some customers. It may not be necessary to dine at this establishment.
