I had thali with puri, masala dosa and samosas. the food was full of taste. the portions were generous and the price was good. the place itself was very clean, spacious and welcoming. I personally really enjoyed it. parking can be a small challenge. they have to pay for street parking.
This place must have improved since the last reviews, we had a great experience here. yes, it is a small place and not for a chic date, but if your chic date enjoys delicious and fill dug, this is a local joint that will satisfy. first we go in on a random week night and it is full of Indian families, a very good sign. we go to the middle area that has all desserts displayed and the menu board above. one of the managers asked what we want, and we said we wanted to dinner, but were not here yet. he got happy menus and began to explain what they had, soon recommended that we get two of thali combos. the food came out quickly and he came over to explain briefly what we had, and later asked if everything was okay, sweet as pie. that was delicious. while I wish there were less milk (salted milk, and one of them was a little heavy with it) the rest was quite a lot vegan. only a court of each thali had carers. the squash soup was lovely sweet and another favorite was the okra I was glad had not the usual slimness. be careful if they are careful on spicy. in this area even mild amounts can be a decent sinus that makes my favorite level clear! I ate like a queen and burst at the end, and when the place was ready to close, 9 we noticed that there were still great family celebrations there that still made their way through their baptism. it seems as if we hit a local favorite
Jay bharat is not good. If I go to a new Veggie place, especially an Indian, I tend to order what is known, I have a basic for comparison. I ordered her very basic South Indian farewell a mysore style dosa, palate clothing, veggie pakoras and idli sambar. none of the food tasted particularly fresh or whole. pakoras is supposed to come out hot and crisp, and these were tepid, limp and underkooked. strike. the palate glazing was also only lukewarm, although the wiper was satisfactory and the shell was saved. the dosa seemed as if she had been sitting for eternity and they just stuck it in the microwave (I don't know it should be the case, that's just how it seemed) it was hard and boring. good vegetarian Indian food doesn't make you feel like you're half dozen times in the booze. while one of the anti-companies was nice, the type I suspect was the owner rather rough and unfriendly. they would be much better off skipping jay bharat towards Udupi Palace or rajdhani, which are the better of the two imo.
This is a great restaurant in the style of Gujurati/North Indian style and sweet business! I visited several times to pick up some candy for family members and on my last visit I tried the chaat papdi. It was well prepared and tested super, it hit the spot for some light! I'll go to dinner again.
I love coming to Jay Bharat when I bless Indian food. You have delicious Masala Dosa and Idli Sambar. I also store on many of the frozen curries and other foods that they have so that I am kept for at least one month. Mango Lassi is greased like all her candy.
