The food was good and the amount was sufficient for 3-4 people so make sure you do not order too much
Great... just great. If you want to eat authentic Indian mainly South Indian food, this is the place. My son, who has been living in the USA for 5 years, knew this place. So we went there. The menus were beautifully printed with Indian artistic images. Many vegetarian and non vegetarian options, as well as both Nordic and South Indian cuisine. But as the name says, it is more inclined to the South Indian cuisine. I suspected that the owner of Andhra or Telangana is from India. She warmly welcomed us and helped us to decide the order. She even came back to ask how we found the taste. The taste was just great. We had ordered Masala Dosas and were surprised that each court contained two dosas. Everything served here is in large portions. The Dosa had a slightly different taste than Udupi dosa, more like Andra a... what was great? and spicy and delicious as we Indians love to be. And why did we love this place more cause for our surprise there were among all posters on the walls... a poster of the great Indian king Shivaji Maharaj....??????? A gesture of respect and love from the owner. We loved it. A must visit for all Indian food lovers...??????????????????
This time we tried her mother's day menu with idli, vada, pongal, upma, halwa and dosa. The Chutneys were, as always, excellent and so was the Sambar. What this visit was different was that the service was much faster. We were glad to see that. We always enjoyed it here. No complaints!
5 star for food quality and taste. 2 stars for service. After waiting 45 mins in the line for a seat, we were unattended for almost about 30 mins, had to literally get up and call the waiter to take out order. Food was amazing, but without the service it isn't any good.
