Had dinner here yesterdayIts quite a perfume'y broth, not bad but a bit strong.
We found this place while travelling from North Spain to Center France through the Pirenees. We arrived a bit late (1430h), so we were afraid of not finding any place to have lunch at. What we found was a nice and quiet place, tasty food and an extremely kind and friendly welcoming. 5 out of 5. Next time we travel through that area we will try to go there again.
Stumbled across this place while out for a drive on a Sunday afternoon. Our meal was very tasty and good sized portions. If you order the beef you are liable to get half a cow on your plate. They also offered a selection of mini desserts which were all delicious. The tiramisu however, is like no other tiramisu you'll have tasted. A bit of a misnomer as it lacked any coffee flavour.
Somewhat of a surprise because it's a place not on the beaten path but it was packed with a full lunch crowd offering an excellent daily fixed menu or a la carte. I've returned several times because the food was excellent, well presented and the service was great and very friendly. This hidden, tucked away Irish Inn, with a touch of Béarn, is a delight with a proprietor who knows how to make a wonderful Irish Coffee.
