The interior of the restaurant was nice and they offered wallet parking. The atmosphere was great, with many families celebrating birthdays. They also offered discounts for pre-booked reservations and specific timing. The restaurant is conveniently located only a kilometer away from CBD Belapur station.
Although this restaurant chain began its branch in Belapur, Navi Mumbai, I only had the opportunity to dine there. It is located behind the State Bank of India branch and therefore not easily visible from the main entrance. Parking service is available. The interior is spacious and simply decorated. The service was quick, even though there were not many diners when we arrived. The waiter was friendly and helpful. As the name suggests, the grill is brought to your table on skewers. Almost ninety percent of the menu items are served this way. For non-vegetarians, there is a wide variety of unlimited chicken and fish items. The kebabs were juicy and well-marinated, and the meat was tender. For appetizers, my wife enjoyed the mushroom, corn, and wafers. For our mains, we tried the grilled mutton belly, biryani, and butter naan. The biryani was not oily or overly spicy, which suited my taste. My wife enjoyed the paneer curry and mixed vegetables. For dessert, we had a selection of items including ice cream, gulab jamun, pudding, cake, and phirni - all of which were delicious. Overall, it was a good experience. They mentioned that they frequently change their menu. Our lunch for three people cost us around Rs. 2,100. Alcoholic beverages are also available.
I have been to Barbeque Nation several times. This time, we visited with a few customers and they did not request sharply grilled non-veg starters. However, the staff graciously served them. The grilled prawns were delicious and the fish was good as well. The vegetarian starters had crispy corn which was really good, Cajun potatoes, and the Hara Bhara kebab was average. They offered free mocktails like masala soda and icy drinks, but liquor was available for an additional charge. The service during our meal was a bit inconsistent, at times it was good and other times we had to call them repeatedly. The staff was friendly and polite as always. They inquired if there was a celebration and if so, they would offer a free brownie and sing a song. There was a pani puri and chaat counter on one side. The main course had a variety of Indian, Chinese, and continental dishes which were good. The dessert selection included ice cream, Kufi, and pastries. Overall, it is a popular concept and I recommend making a reservation for the evening meal.
