We arranged a family get together in Global Desi Tadka Kharghar for about 40 guests in December 2015 . It turned out a fun place with every one enjoying veg/ non -veg starters , chaat , veriety of Indian breads , briyani, ice golas, North and South Indian food items . The buffet is worth the money though taste is average for most of the items except briyani and fried fish which are really good .Besides the buffet , the major attraction of this venue is its rustic decoration with a touch of typical North Indian Village Dhaaba. The whole set up is very colourful with hustings , balloons and lights. On request, the puppet show was arranged which everyone enjoyed . The music and Dj are good and dancing continued for long hours. The service is very good . The guests are served starters and chhachh continuously . Desi tea served on cycle attracts all. The management was very helpful in meeting various requirements to make the party enjoyable . However, cleanliness can be better . Also , individuals guests who are not part of the ongoing party may find the place noisy. In summary , Global Desi Tadka at Kharghar is a good venue for parties up to about 100 guests and the rates are moderate .
Ambiance is just too good and creative but offers only limited indian street stuff .. wide variety of pickles to desi chai etc ..
This restaurant is a part of The Village restaurant located on every corner of Mumbai. The restaurant is spacious enough to accomodate more than 200 people comofortably. Nice concept, where once can choose from various cuisines such as Punjabi, South Indian and Indian Chinese. They have seperate counter for Gola (Crushed Ice Syrup) and Chaat. No doubt about the varierty of foods but the taste remains like an average restaurant. The best part about this village franchisee is that they serve non-vegetarian food, where others only serve vegetarian. If you want to spend less and have variety and you are not freaky about taste, go for it.
Global Desi Tadka is a themed restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of dishes from appetizers to breads, vegetables, South Indian cuisine, and desserts at different food stations. They have a DJ playing music constantly and a dance floor for guests to enjoy. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and serves delicious food, all at a reasonable price per person.
