Butlin's Traditional Fish Chip - Arun

I have just had the best fish and chips I have ever tasted at Butlin’s Bognor Regis. I cannot fault the quality of the fish which was cooked to perfection and the chips were perfect too! Great portions, hot, crispy batter and chips just right with no grease at all. Would recommend that if you have the chance try it for yourself!

As the name would suggest!! Traditional fish chips.. Went their on the Friday night as we landed in Butlin’s. Had booked a table, but was warned on check in that there was a 30-40 min wait on food. In reality it was less than this but was good to set expectations. Suspect any delays was from short staff. Waitress, Joyce, was extremely busy and run off her feet. Despite this she was on point and kept a smile on her face. Without her I think it may have been a worse outcome! Food was as you’d expect from fish and chips

Do not bother ordering chips from this restaurant. You will not receive enough to even feed a goldfish, and they are served cold. For £3.50, you get what they call 3 scoops, but it is more like 1.5 handfuls. The gravy is watery with minimal flavor. This is not traditional fish and chips; it feels like a rip-off. When my partner asked about the portion size, she received a blunt and somewhat rude response that 3 scoops is what you get. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant and instead opt for Birds Eye or find a more local spot along the seafront. Additionally, the chicken burger was cold and dry with no toppings offered. I will be lodging a complaint with Butlins because the food we received was not even suitable for dogs, despite spending £25.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant while staying at Butlins. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the fish and chips were delicious. They also made a fantastic cocktail. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant the next time I stay at Butlins.

We had dinner last night with my family and the food was delicious. Our waitress, Matt, was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning this week!
