It's a refreshing break from the typical chain restaurants that are so common nowadays. The only downside is that it closes around 2pm. They also have a lovely outdoor seating area that gets plenty of sun.
Had our breakfast here yesterday (Bank Holiday Monday) great food and large portions. If you’re out and about in Middleton or Elmer Sands I recommend the full English
A lovely little cafe. Friendly and we enjoyed a lovely coffee with light lunch. Will recommend to any one planning a visit to the area
We stopped at this cafe after a nice walk along the beach from Climping. We had a ham salad and a delicious piece of apple pie, which was full with sliced apple.
Standards have dropped considerably. Items were unavailable but we weren’t told until after orders were placed. There was no offer to discount or substitute. When my food came out it was wrong the breakfast was missing sausages and black pudding but had chips added. I had to ask for the sausage but was too embarrassed to speak up again when I realised the black pudding wasn’t there. There was no choice about egg types, the food was fried where it could be and toast was soggy. This was not a one off on my previous visit only 2 days prior I asked for an item to be left off my plate. I didn’t want a swap, I was told this would be done but it wasn’t. Food quality was appalling. I get the impression that this place relies on there being very little competition so don’t have to try to impress however, they will come unstuck because i can see someone of the pubs working on their food menu. I used to come every few weeks but won’t be back.
