The Pizza Base - Arun

Great pizza, Quick delivery in local area. Phone staff need to be more enthusiastic. But my go to pizza Place is PIZZA BASE.

We often order from here, the prices are so good, as is the food. We have a 15in deep pan pizza with 4 toppings and 2 drinks for £9.99. It always arrives piping hot, and is so tasty. Much nicer than other places we have ordered from before

We always order from here as opposed to dominos who charge ridiculous prices. Not only is pizza base good on price, the pizza is delicious! Both thick and thin base are great! Hardly any grease like dominos! We would only order here from now on. We usually get the £15 deal which is a medium pizza, drinks each, 2 sides and Ben and Jerry’s! Unreal prices!

Ordered on a Friday evening. Used to always order from Pizza Base a few years ago but hadn 't ordered from them since as their quality had gone down. Decided to order from them on this day to see if anything had changed and as their deals are pretty good. Unfortunately I ordered through JustEat and the delivery time was set to an hour from ordering (which I expected) but then it was changed by the restaurant to be another 15 minutes later which would be an hour and 10 minutes after order time. It hit the time of delivery and I still hadn 't received my food. I rang the restaurant 5 minutes later and the girl who answered the phone was unsure as to whether the driver had taken my food out for delivery or not, but had to make a guess that he had so it may or may not be with me soon. About 10 minutes later which by this point was an hour and 25 minutes after I ordered, my food arrived. The driver apologised for the wait and took £3 off my order which was appreciated. It was a shame that the pizza was not how I remembered it once to be. It wasn 't unpleasant but it certainly wasn 't to the quality of some other pizza shops/kebab houses you could go to for a reasonable price pizza. I won 't be ordering from here again but wish them well.

We ordered in store and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. After waiting around for 50 minutes, the food showed up with no apology or explanation. They realised they had forgotten part of the order, I said I didn't want to wait any longer so I'd like the money back instead. Once we got back we realised they had forgotten the dips and got the side order completely wrong. It was obviously foolish of us to assume they could have got the order right after such a long wait! It's a shame because the pizza was actually really nice but after that experience I won't be going back.
