We live in Louisiana and come to Colorado once a year to visit my husband's family. A few years back we stopped at George's and had the most incredible breakfast burrito with green chili sauce. I dreamed about that burrito!!! Finally, today we had a chance to go back. I wondered if I had perhaps my memory had built it up to better than it actually had been. Took one bite and it was just as wonderful as I had remembered. HUGE and filled with egg, cheese, bacon, sausage, ham and hash browns and smothered in this amazing green chili! This is not a great place to look at: the interior is dated and worn but that Supreme Breakfast Burrito is just fantastic and the prices are very reasonable for the food you get!
The food is always good.... The food at George's is good. It's not a posh place, it's a small diner that could, admittedly, use a good scrub and an update. But the food is ALWAYS good and the servers aren't on you constantly like in some places. Definitely prefer George's over IHOP or VI any day.
Great food. Wonderful people. Reasonable prices for a neighborhood place. We always try to support the little guys. They are like family and treat all the patrons as such. Thanks. Barb John
A Plus. Have only had breakfast which is served all day. Highly recommend the top of the line breakfast burrito. Have never left hungy. So far I have introduced 3-4 new people and everyone has effervesed and said they would return. The wait is efficient and friendly without putting their hands all over you when it is time to tip.<br/ BTW, a friend I sometimes go with moans with pleasure everytime he bits ino an order of biscuits and gravy.<br/ I am a fan and will be a loyal customer
