When we reached the first window, the staff read back our order but forgot the fries. My boyfriend politely asked if the fries were included, and the worker replied no. We mentioned that we had given a code, but she claimed she didn’t receive it and couldn’t give us the fries. We then asked if there was a way to still apply the code for the fries. She said she would get her manager, and we assumed she needed an override, so we patiently waited. When the manager arrived, she started yelling at us, insisting we hadn’t provided a code and that the fries wouldn’t be added at the window. Upset, I explained that we had indeed applied the code and saw it on the screen, but it didn’t appear on the receipt. Her response was to threaten us with a refund and demand that we leave her restaurant. It was incredibly frustrating. My boyfriend tried to calm me down as we were willing to pay for the fries too, but it was ridiculous that someone would react so negatively over a small issue. The manager didn’t even offer us an alternative. She handed us the cash refund, and my boyfriend pointed out that she didn't need to be rude, as we had politely asked the worker about adding the fries. In response, she just shut the window in his face and walked away with her staff. I understand that working in fast food is challenging, and maybe she was under stress, but there’s no excuse for being that rude to a customer asking for something reasonable. We didn’t imply they had made a mistake, yet she spoke to us as if we were at fault. We left feeling upset, especially since we had never experienced anything like this before, especially in our small town. I wanted to share this in case others have encountered this manager, or perhaps in hopes that she sees this and realizes that her attitude is unacceptable. Someone with a similar demeanor might regret speaking to customers that way. Service: 1

I ordered curbside pickup and it took an extremely long time for them to bring my order. Meal type: Breakfast. Price per person: $20–30.

The new staff members are really friendly, especially the newcomer who resembles Sid from Toy Story. Overall, I would rate the service as a 5.
