I had a fish dish that was so dry and overcooked, I had to leave it practically untouched. The desert was also inspiring. Cheap, but not cheerful. Wouldn't go again!
New owners, but not much good yet. It's called La Cale Seche. It tried for lunch, but fear to waste money when your dinner menu is better
We decided to eat there as they had a beautiful sunny terrace and we regret it deeply. The dishes were not good: 1 children's menu: very small dishes, fish very average, crepe not good 2 moule fries: frites were good, but we got sick...for 2 days with the mouth (definite not fresh!!! Don't go!
Why two halves? Well, we went to lunch to drink on 1. May, a national holiday and the place was very busy and we booked a table for the evening. In fact, only another couple and then a family of four joined us two. I had an excellent Fruit de Mer and my wife the warm oysters, various but tasty main thing and a pudding. A most pleasant meal and at 20 euros very reasonable for four courses. That was the first half, the second started in the early morning when we were both violently ill and felt uncomfortable for most of the next day. The court we both shared was the oysters, so it wasn't a bad oyster what could happen, it was all or more. For a restaurant that claims seafood as a specialty, this is not good enough.
