One - Ascot

What a joy! yesterday for a delicious Sunday dinner, omar is simply charming and it was under £30 for two of us .worthy of 10 stars !

Easy booking, plenty of car parking in front and high street, very friendly staff, prompt service. And amazing food in large portions at very competitive discounts. Would go there again and again.

Good food at slightly higher prices, lovely staff, and a mixed atmosphere depending on the night. We booked a table for 6:30 so we could go to eat after we were finished for the day at the horse races. We ended up showing up early, around 6, but thankfully were allowed in to get a table earlier than planed. I had the spaghetti bolognese and my friend had the vegetable paelle, both of which were a little pricey, but when served were quite big dishes that were very tasty so definitely worth the money. The only thing that let the night down was the atmosphere, which started pleasent but steadily descended into chaos as people kept spilling in from the racecourse and having too much to drink. Eventually the police came to calm things down, just in time really as things seemed to be on the edge of turning ugly. That being said the staff and bouncers did a good job of keeping the clubbers out of the restaurant area to maintain and aura of relative calm in that section.

Good food and good service, I went there twice in a week first with some friends and then with my son and I was impressed to find out that the paella and tapas are actually much better than the tapas bar up the road... and cheaper that sais everything. I also love their fajitas worth to try. Well done guys I'll be back soon definitely.
