The meal was fantastic - generous portion and very tasty. I will definitely be ordering from Canton Palace again if I find myself in the Nundah area in the future.
I used to frequent the Eagle Palace, my local Chinese restaurant in Clayfield, but unfortunately it closed down. However, I received a menu from Canton Palace in the mail and decided to give it a try. I placed a takeaway order over the phone and drove to Nunda to pick it up. Although the shop front and restaurant looked a bit old and run down, the service from Anne was friendly and the food was top-notch. In fact, it was even better than meals I've had in Sunnybank and Hong Kong. I've ordered takeout three more times since my first visit, each time trying something new from the menu, and each meal was even more delicious than the last. The old saying proved true in this case - don't judge a book by its cover. I highly recommend Canton Palace.
If you find yourself stranded in a remote location and need food delivered, Canton Palace is a great option with no delivery fee. I ordered the seafood laksa and it was promptly delivered, along with a cold bottle of water. I have no complaints – highly recommended!
Even though this place looks abit dodgy from the outside...it definitely defines a Delicious Chinese meal inside. Greeted by friendly efficient staff. Food was piping hot served in a short amount of time that it takes to cook from fresh ingredients. This place also offer dinner specials. Had the steamed dim sims Mongolian beef, both dishes were very tasty. Will be returning
Seriously, it 's hard for me to walk past anything with the word 'special ' at the end so I tried the garlic chicken from the $8.80 list of dinner specials. For $8.80 I 'm really not going to complain. Wasn 't the best take away Chinese I 've had but it was cooked fresh and loads better than all of those ghastly food court Chinese buffet places with bulk dishes swimming in starchy gravy, kept barely warm under sneeze guard glass and hot lamps. Canton Palace is a much better option any time!
