Contribuisci feedbackI am not too sure why it's called No.19 but everything else in here just makes sense to me and any passionate foodie.Located on Union road this venue not only offers great food but it also has the perfect atmosphere for a sweet brunch. We ordered their detox breakfast bowl and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The food was superb, light, nutritious and it was the perfect serving size. Service was spot on but the highlight was the actual venue, we fell in love with it. Thank you for having us
I had the No 19 Benedict for breakfast, which is pulled pork on two pieces of sourdough, with apples, two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The flavour of the eggs and hollandaise get lost in the pork and apples, and while they don't taste 'wrong' together, they don't taste entirely 'right' together either. I got the impression they are trying to be too different to the point where there is nothing special about the flavour of the meals.
How amazing is the interior fit out of this place.. very clean and modern.. the menu caters to everyone, want something healthy done, prefer something far less healthy done... the flavours that come through in the food is incredible.. the coffee was was and so was the single origin, the only thing letting this place down is the service levels of the staff.. easy fix.
I've been trying to eat here since they opened and finally got a chance to visit today. It looks amazing, so light, crisp and modern- like an interior designer's dream. We sat outside, as I had been told that it gets very stuffy inside. It took about 5 minutes for the waitress to realise that the finished plates at the table weren't ours, but we eventually got a menu and ordered coffee. I was surprised that there were not many cold drinks on the menu (apart from very rich sounding smoothies and the usual iced coffee/chocolate). I was sure there would be an iced tea or local sparking soda or something. I opted for my usual iced espresso, and I must say I was disappointed! It was either burnt or something went array in the process. It had that detergent, bitter taste that I'm pretty confident was not intentional. I'm sure they would have made another one if I asked, but I just waited for the ice to melt and drank it as was. I ordered the pea fritters- which I normally probably wouldn't go for but they were delicious! On first look, I was worried that they may be dry, but they were great, dressed with a vibrant, colourful salad, including some amazing pickled capsicum or something that was a bomb of flavour. The bed of aioli and pesto added the final touch to the dish and moistened everything up. There was also flaked salmon fillet and an egg to tie it all in. I also found the water glasses too small and kept spilling mine all over the table when it rocked slightly. Staff were all friendly and seemed to be asking every customer how their meal was, with the intention of gathering feedback (great move for a new cafe in a competitive patch of the suburb). Parking not too hard to come by- just watch the permit parking zones.
Brunch was really good, we had pulled pork and Detox breakfast and it was really nice. the store it self was really nice and relaxing!
