Contribuisci feedbackI ordered a few chicken lo my dinner and I specifically asked to make it “LESS SPICY”. the command came and it was spicy like the hell! forget the children, I couldn't eat it! red sauce about eating. I called the restaurant and the guy said we had added only half a teaspoon of hot sauce. he said he had to take the food back to the boil, I said that's good, but please bring me another one that's less sharp. then he was like, now I don't have a driver to bring it to them. unless you can pick it up. of course, I wasn't in the position and didn't want to go. He said if you want to wait, it takes 35 to 40 minutes to get you another one. it is 20 to 20:00 and the food has not arrived yet. my children will go to bed at 8 o'clock. it's ridiculous!
I usually don't like to leave reviews below five stars, but unfortunately my favorite Chinese restaurant has declined in quality. I have been giving this place five-star reviews for years and always recommended it to others. I'm not sure if they changed chefs or it was just a fluke, but this time the lo mein was very dry when it's usually nice and moist, and the fried rice didn't seem like it had been fried long enough as it resembled more of brown rice than fried. However, all the other dishes were as good as the previous meals I had ordered.
As a frequent customer, I have been ordering hot and sour soup from this restaurant for the past 2 years and have always given rave reviews. However, last week when I ordered two large containers, I noticed that the recipe seemed to have changed. The soup tasted unusual and had a strong black coffee flavor, which I dislike. I was unable to eat either of the containers due to this unpleasant taste. I hope that the restaurant has not permanently changed the recipe to include black coffee. Additionally, I try to avoid foods with MSG as it triggers my migraines.
The food was delicious as always, but we encountered a problem during our visit. I decided to inform the staff about it, and they assured me that they would resolve the issue. It's great to see such dedicated and responsible young people taking care of their restaurant.
We ordered take out. We typically get a couple of entrees and often add their emailed special. I phone in the order because many online menus have much higher prices and take a substantial percentage from the restaurant. When ordering, I specifically noted the special as noted in the email. When I got there and the cashier noted the amount, I said that seems high. We reviewed the items; he said the special price requires on line ordering. I said I mentioned it and why would it just be online? An older woman joined him and they were adamant that it was my mistake and the email clearly notes on line. I looked at the email this morning and it does not state on line only. It gives an online code but does say available only on line.The food was good, hot and all items present. They staple the bag so one cannot check it. Last time we ordered, a couple of weeks back, we were shorted a rice.
