The Phat Duck - Ashburton

Stopped for a meal in transit home. Nice menu selections and a delicious plate of food. Could do with more 0 alcohol options for drivers, but good friendly staff and restaurant space away from the bar was relatively quiet and nicely presented. Will stop again.

Just visited for a beer, atmosphere is nice but being a Saturday, it was a little full but not overly but it was very noisy. They appear to have tried to mitigate this with disks suspended from the ceiling but to little avail unfortunately.

Great place, Friendly staff and amazing service. Food was cooked very well and was delicious. The Phat Duck is a great restaurant for families and catering young children. Definitely recommend this one if you're stopping by as the location is conveniently just off the main road.

Last min decision to drop by for lunch pitstop w the kids, service was great, food portion was good. Ordered the ribs fantastic! the prawn/duck pizza was a hit. Had lattes and chai latte after our meals to prep for the cold weather ahead

Lovely staff, quick service and the food was so tasty! I recommend the lamb shank, so flavorsome. Will visit again next time we are in Ashburton
