The sausage gravy and biscuits are also very good. For dinner, I highly recommend the flame broiled pork chops with steamed vegetables and a large baked potato. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the prices are good. The only downside is that the restaurant is 700 miles away from my home, but I always make sure to visit when I am in town.
Poor service at takeout. Young girl with too much eye makeup just rolled her eyes when we complained that we did not have all of our order. She said the names were not on the bags … so whatever.
I went to David's to enjoy a nice lunch with my mother. It was 100 degrees outside and the thermostat was set on 85. I asked the waitress if she could turn the air down and she looked like she was scared. She brought out our food and never came back to check on us. The food was good but we were not happy with the atmosphere. On eof the waitresses came over to the thermastat and took a picture of it. Guess the owner didn,t want to come out. If I wanted to sit in the heat, I would have sat outside. Seems like this restaurant has gone downhill the past few years.
Visited the restaurant with two sisters and my nephew. Was very pleasantly surprised by the range of menu choices and the service.
We have visited this restaurant a few times and both the food and service are excellent. We dined there last week and returned again today. The waitress who served us last week came out and mentioned that she had found $20 stuck together and wanted to return it to us. We felt very grateful for her honesty and kindness. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant more often.
