We waited 20 minutes to be seated and once seated our booth seat was covered in water (not a great start sothey may not have cleaned the table). Our waitress was also kind of in a rush and she seemed somewhat upset (in a verynoticeable passive way) that we did not order any alcoholic beverages. I ordered the 12 hour pork breakfast bowl and I thoughtit was too heavy on the bacon gravy. The pork I thought was just okay but the gravy made it super heavy to where I walked outpretty bloated. The people I went with ordered the biscuit French toast and the organic tofu breakfast, all which were verybland. And we were very hungry when we got to brunch so that tells you how we felt while eating. To top it off, our waitresscame to collect our card and when she gave it back, it was so sticky like her hands were covered in syrup and she touched ourcard to where we had to go and scrub it off. Overall, I would definitely try out a different brunch place as this didn?t seem todo the job with us.
BEST Gluten free fried chicken EVER! (Actually, I don't know any other places that do GF fried chicken. ???? We enjoy the new South side restaurant because it's quaint and minutes away from the movie theater for our date night. I always get theButtermilk Fried Chicken plate for dinner and mashed potatoes with gf bacon gravy on top and haricots verts, which are greenbeans. My husband enjoyed Fresh Herbed Goat Cheese Omelet with heirloom grits. Great service! Staff are engaging, delightful, and on top of their game with caring for their customers. Highly recommend!
Loved the food! They were willing to alter a bbq breakfast bowl for my low carb needs by switching out the potatoes for some spinach, with no change in price. My son also enjoyed his two egg breakfast, although the country ham was SO salty it wasalmost inedible. I expect country ham to be salty, but this was overly so. The service was friendly, but for a weekday morningand a not very busy restaurant, it was slow. I couldn't quite figure out why, because it's not a very large restaurant either. I'll definitely come back, but just plan to do it on a day when I'm not in a hurry.
Hands down the best gluten-free fried chicken I have ever eaten! I recommend the buttermilk fried chicken. The cornbread waffle was great too!
We stopped by for breakfast Sunday morning. The staff was super friendly and seated us right away. I got the Charleston Chicken Biscuit w/ fried egg home fries. It was so good I cleaned the entire plate!
