Home Ground Coffee Deli - Asheville

Love this quaint restaurant! Came here for a late lunch and definitely was starving after a long drive on the parkway. The food and ambience was truly amazing and definitely a top notch place for a break. P.S. my wife left her purse here and after momentarily freaking out, we found it here and they were gracious enough to come back after hours to help her out! Good people do still exist!

My lady and I had our first date here back in September 2019. A Lot has changed since then. We were finally able to get back for a visit. What a pleasant surprise to find that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Home Grown is now Home Ground, however it still had the same feel, and great food choices. Thank you Don for your willingness to accommodate my special requests. It made for a memorable breakfast experience. Thank you to all the unnamed employees that also did a wonderful job on our first, of what I hope will be many more visits to this little gem.

Great lunch spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. Extremely satisfying and good portions. Employees personable and service very reasonable. Love this place on my bike ride along the river.

Visited Asheville from Charlotte and stopped by this place right when they opened for breakfast. They employees were all so nice and accommodating, and the service was quick. The spot itself is really cool, with a lot of indoor/outdoor seating. But the food was AMAZING. You have to try the fried chicken. We got breakfast sandwiches on English muffins one with the chicken, the other with sausage which was also bomb. Coffee was great, too. Best breakfast I’ve had in awhile, and definitely better than any breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in Charlotte.

Lits of yummy breakfast dishes and drinks to choose from. Laid-back outdoor seating and vibe. Close to walking trails along the river.
