We were forced to wait outside in the cold and rain for 65 minutes because the reception desk gave us a non working buzzer and never bothered to check if we were waiting outside. When I went in to ask, the girl at the desk was horribly rude. No spology. If it wasn’t my son in laws birthday wish to eat here we would have left. Never coming again.
This place was packed! And it had a great vibe! We were fortunate to not wait long for a table. After being seated, I truly enjoyed reviewing the beer list to make my selections (plural). I sampled a few different options, but settled on a light lager called Daylight. I know ... boring. But it was tasty! On to the food. We decided to make a buffet of appetizers. We proceeded to order the Soft Pretzel, Fish N' Chips, and the Bavarian Platter. Winner! This combination was just right to both give us variety of options and fill our bellies. Definitely worth another visit.
Between the brews, food and atmosphere, this was a great place to have lunch. We highly recommend their version of the grilled cheese. The inside of the brewery has a wonderful feeling and atmosphere. The laid back staff and funky selection of beer really made things the perfect lunch spot to kick off our day of drinking.
Took the tour and it was good. Learned a little about the brewery. We were given a souvenir glass and a few samples. Stayed and had a couple of their house-made brews. Good place to hang out with ample seating inside and out.
Although Wicked Weed is now owned by ABI, we enjoyed the beer we tried here. Actually better than the beer was our lunch! I had the shrimp po’boy $18, plus $2 for the upgrade to sweet potato fries) and it was excellent! Hubby had the pub burger with bacon $17.50) and really enjoyed it. Pleasant atmosphere both inside and out.
