Papas Express - Asheville

Absolutely loved this place and the sweet family that runs it! I will even go as gs to say that it’s my favorite Mexican food in Asheville. I’ve already been back again. They were very altering and helped me worked around some food sensitivities. The portions were very generous. Their sauces are amazing. We may be even go back this weekend!!

I ate at Papa's Express at the mall in Asheville for the first time and had a chicken quesadilla that was the best I've ever had in my life! Then I saw a sign for a taco barria. I never had heard of that so I asked the owner, Alfredo, and he let me taste the meat that's in the taco and it was delicious and ended up getting one of those and It was yummy. It's a family run business and they obviously care about the quality of their food which is freshly. I look forward to my next trip to Asheville and getting food at Papa's Express ???

The best Mexican food in town is at the mall. Huge portions at a good price. The quality of ingredients are top notch, very fresh. Shrimp tacos are the best!

Wife got the burrito, which was amazing for mall food. Highly recommend coming here and giving it a try.

I would normally not leave a review for a food court restaurant, but I feel I would be doing the folks who visit the Asheville mall a great disservice by not telling them about Papa's Express. By far, the best Mexican (California style) I've had in a very long time. The flavors are out of this world... I had the Kobe Burrito and my fiancé had the Birra Tacos. 10 out of 10 on everything . Trust a fat man when he tells you to give it a try you will not be disappointed!!
