I will come back at any time my breakfast hit me (which is quite often) bojangles you have been replaced!
You would think that a place called Rise would have a leavening agent in their biscuits (the main attractions are frankly pathetic). I guess you have to pay extra for a properly baked biscuit just like you have to pay extra for a sauce for your breakfast let-down. If you like to pay 50 cents per cheddar tater tot, Rise will be your kinda place. 22 bucks for three biscuits, a coffee, and 4 tots... Mental. In a saturated, hipster-breakfast market, Rise should be at the bottom of the list.
Food was reasonably priced. Would be nice if they actually cooked their chicken though. Maybe once they figure it out, but until then check your chicken.
I love their menu, and eating reminded me of my big grandmother cookies and huh. very delicate fried chicken, and perfectly spiced. I have the first engraving and keksbox. it was excellent. the biscuits were fluffy, the gravur had right, and the fried egg sat down all the thing, plus the fried chickens on top with cheese. yummy! they even have vegan options, large biscuits and beyond is definitiw the best statement for this restaurant. we were definitely impressed! different then their typical chicken restaurant and their typical keksladen. Next I will try to throw the blueberries on them. order them online by placing their next together with rise. or go personally. either they are impressed and obsessed!
To be out of town, it was annoying that we literally stood at the counter for 10 minutes, without a SINGLE staff catching us or letting us know we were standing at the self-service kiosk! after the back line was literally out of the door, asked us a helpful customer to use the kiosk. we apologized and explained that we were out of town. once ordered it was usually smooth. No one told us that we should take ourselves coffee, but food was delicious, would definitely return to another visit in the city. only suggestion: greet direct people at the self-service line, especially if they have been there
