Roman's Deli Catering - Asheville

I had the chance to sample some of their catered sandwiches at an event, and I can confidently say that they serve the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever tasted. And that was just the catered version! The quality of all the sandwiches and salads is outstanding, and everyone in the meeting room was delighted. I can't wait to make this a regular favorite. Oh, and don’t forget to try the cookies—they're a must!

I often stop by for lunch at this restaurant. They consistently provide excellent service and delicious food, all in a pleasant atmosphere. My favorite items on the menu are the potato salad and cookies.

Here are a few highlights from our visit to Roman's. We sat outside with our dog, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. They promptly cleared tables as soon as guests left. We ordered the Chicken Caprese Italian along with a pasta salad and potato salad, and everything was incredibly fresh and of high quality. We will definitely return! Additionally, I noticed that they were one of the few places downtown that didn’t question shoppers looking for a restroom. The management truly understands their customers.

Excellent Veggie burger that stands out from other veggie burgers. This one is clearly homemade with actual black beans and lentils. The burger is also loaded with red onions, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and a special sauce. Fantastic sandwich even though it was on the pricey side. The potato and pasta salads were also very refreshing and fresh. I also recommend the chicken salad sandwich which includes sundried tomatoes that add a beautiful flavor to the sandwich.

One of the best sandwich shops or lunch spots in downtown Asheville. Great selection of options, great location, and super friendly staff. I usually don't eat tuna salad but it's a must try here. I'm a big fan of the caprese sandwiches as well. Also, they have a catering service as well.
