Honest mention: her fleas is also amazing and we also find an excuse to get at least the small bowl each time. what we spent: $22 before tipp, and we get in the rule 1 main dish, 1 pancake, 1 side and coffee. what we liked: everything. every court we had was great after our opinion. the pancakes, oatmeal, poutine, biscuits gravy, breakfast sandwich and lumbercamp breakfast are all outstanding breakfast dishes and possibly our favorites throughout the city. the lunch menu seems to change most, but the crispy brussel sprouts, saw horses burger, and chicken club we had twice and bleeded away each time. what we didn't like: it can't really find anything bad if you don't think it's something out of it. our evaluation system: 5 stars great to amazing food and experience. from the roofs to tell people. return often and eagerly or find out to book a table for a more expensive place. 4 stars good to great food and experience. write them back to home. eager. 3 stars good to eat and experience. will offer suggestions if asked, but probably would rather go elsewhere. 2 stars underwhelming, okay eating and experience. not a return worth and could tell people that they skip. 1 star badly underwhelming food and experience. regrets that people avoid it.
Still brilliant. this time I got a geeist Canadian coffee with alcohol and maple syrup. so good. Besides, mushrooms and caramelized wobble on toast (grown and cod cake. the cakes were good, but the mushroom dish did not want to share the spotlight. the waiting staff is wonderful. we sat at the bar and kacie(? has greeted us like old friends. we ordered the ala carte menu right down because we wanted to try everything and everything was great. we also have the Brussel shoots. Yeah, I don't care what you eat, just to get the Brussel shots. friendly, community vibe and not their standard south fees if they need a break from this.
I had pretty much the best breakfast of my life at Sawhorse. It was nearly impossible to decide what to order the menu has so many interesting dishes! I like that it has an old school diner vibe with comfy booths. The service was exceptional genuinely friendly. I give this place a dozen stars if I could.
Went for an early Friday night dinner and snagged seats at the bar. Our server was very welcoming and helpful with great menu recommendations. Not pictured was a delicious cup of red split pea soup for a starter and we shared our entrees. Beef was cooked perfectly, meat pie was hearty and flavorful and all of the accompanying vegetables really made the courses shine. Wasn’t sure I had room for dessert but I’m so glad I ordered the Maple Eclair. That might’ve been my favorite bite of the night! They’re busy/popular on weekends so I’d recommend hitting up Sawhorse for a weeknight dinner. So glad we finally checked this place out! We will most definitely be back.
Delicious!!! Buckwheat pancakes were gluten free and AH-mazing!!! So good that we didn’t get a picture before they were gobbled up. Thank you, Sawhorse!!
