Sovereign Kava - Asheville

Not open until 1a as stated on website evidenced by me just driving 20 mins here on a Saturday and getting here at 12:45a (now) UPDATE: I called at 12:57 to make sure I wasn’t missing something and Alex accommodated me so graciously even though it was obvious it was a slower night for them (sounds like Saturdays normally are) and they were able to hook me up with a double shell just before heading out which I super appreciated and now update to 5 stars

Great people and employees! Mic night on Wednesday is magical.

They just need more people to go. Comfortable and large.

Don't know if they have food. But definitely a dope spot for kava. Been here two times. Both times were on point. If you want to try kava or looking for a kava spot with a chill atmosphere. This is it. They have live music and nice seating. Stop in, check it out, try some kava (but prepare yourself for the taste) and relax.

Had a great time visiting with my friend and enjoying a delicious drink. I had the Mule and it was quite tasty. Tuesday night is open mic night and there was a steady stream of live music cascading out of the building onto the street through the open garage door. The vibe is super chill, the clientele is eclectic and welcoming and the treats are varied. I’ll def be back.
