Our first visit to Asheville started on the best note: dinner at Twisted Laurel! It was recommended to us, and I?m so glad we listened. The food was amazing, awesome vibe, and the *service* was phenomenal. We had the powerhouse duo of Steven and Kelly taking care of us, and they were so friendly and professional and made our dinner a 10/10. Thank you Steven and Kelly, and the whole TL team!
We followed our waiter Steven?s advice and I?m glad we did! The trout cake was one of the best creations I?ve ever had and my wife loved her pasta. The Bread and Spread came with prosciutto butter. Have you ever even heard of meat butter? It?s even better than you could imagine. Terrific find, we?d high;y recommend.
The meatball sliders were delicious and large! The southern fried chicken sandwich was also very good. The ravioli had a good taste and was filled with a raw egg yolk but I was surprised when I received only ONE ravioli! It was not very filling at all. But great taste! We loved our waiter and the outside patio was perfect!
As a mother of unvaccinated children, I truly appreciated the fact that all the staff at the restaurant were wearing face coverings. It made us feel safer as we ventured out for our first time in almost two years following quarantine. The food was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb entree and left nothing on my plate. The kids loved the homemade chicken fingers and white pizza. I also noticed the wings at another table, although I'm not a fan of wings, they looked really good. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
