Udon Sushi Noodle - Asheville

Sweet little sushi and noodle spot in a somewhat odd area. Plenty of parking though so that's a bonus. As we came in, it took people awhile to greet us. Seems that many people get takeout. That or they're regulars and know what's up. I think they thought we were waiting for food. I asked and was told to sit anywhere. Server was super friendly and casual. He gave menus and got water promptly. We started with crab rations. Very fast app. Not the best ones (tiny and lots of bread) but decent. The sushi was great. Loved the crazy salmon. And Philadelphia roll. Great amount of fish and ingredients tasted fresh. Three with an app was perfect for two people. We didn't ever get a refill of water (so thirsty) but everyone was super friendly and the food was very fresh.

Stopped in today after work. My son has been wanting to try it, I was hesitant considering I'm not a big fan of most of the Asian restaurants around here, normally the food is mushy and just has a bad texture. But wow, I must say I was not disappointed and I will definitely be returning. The portions are nice, The texture of my general tso chicken was perfect, the egg rolls had the perfect crunch to them and was delicious, the fried rice was delicious. My son got the udon noodles with chicken soup and he enjoyed it as well. The waiter was friendly and quickly to us along with quickly getting our food out. The decor is perfect. Highly recommend giving them a try.

The service was quick and professional. They have a wide variety of dishes from Sushi, Hibachi, Terriaky and traditional dishes. The Hibachi shrimp was delicious and the helping of shrimp was generous. The seaweed salad and ginger salad were fresh and light. I thoroughly enjoyed our visit.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options like the salads, lol mein, and meat free curry.Parking: Plenty of shared parking in a shopping center.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible handicap parking and tables where chairs can be removed.

Service was awesome! We had 5 different sashimi items and the double dragon and blue ridge rolls and both were so good. Highly recommend this place!

Did an online order for red Thai curry with beef and pad Thai, would not recommend. Curry was overly sweet and pad Thai did not have much flavor at all. They put chicken in the curry instead of the beef which was a disappointment. Maybe I would go back but try something different. Huge portions, decent price but I don't really even want my leftovers. Staff was nice so that was a plus.
