If you want the best curry comfort food in WNC, then this is the place. I loved everything about this place, employees were polite and environment was education for Japanese culture. I'll be back at any celebration I can.

Not only is the food authentic, but the place and the atmosphere is very, very Japanese. I felt like I was back in Tokyo, very relaxed and casual environment. The staff is so beautiful. The whole experience feels very real. As far as food is concerned, it's not unbelievable, but still tasty and the next you will find real Japanese food in Asheville! Try it yourself!

The best Japanese place in the city is legit Japanese food from Japanese people. It's really good comfort food and I can't think anything on the menu I didn't like after trying! Very recommended.

Really good food!! Prices are very reasonable and I love the atmosphere. They offer reusable paprika and free green tea to drink. Only negative was the soup a bit bland, but except that everything was delicious!! Definitely back.

I've been here twice now, once on a date and once by myself and both times have been outstanding. The food is so hot, fresh and unique! I'm a lover of Japanese culture and food. You can't get food like this anywhere nearby, especially in WNC. The staff are so so so friendly and despite what others have said, I find they are knowledgeable about the selections and helpful in making recommendations. The owner seems very sweet and I can tell she puts so much love into this restaurant. I love the selection of Japanese books too, so I can come and practice reading my characters and translating! I'll be back again and again and I highly recommend it to college students especially as it will fill you up for a really decent price! ????? ?´?`? ??
