Mour Bar Restaurant - Ashfield

I had an amazing dining experience during a work trip at this restaurant. I didn't even know it existed before. My colleagues and I went for lunch to bid farewell to a departing colleague. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful bar and grill with a lively atmosphere. I felt a bit underdressed in my casual clothes because of the upscale feel of the place. Despite this, the prices were very reasonable for the high quality of food. The service was impeccable, particularly from our server Kayleigh. She was professional, engaging, and made us feel welcome by quickly adapting to our mood and building rapport with us. I loved everything about this place and I plan to take my wife there for lunch breaks. I highly recommend it for business meetings, celebrations, or simply enjoying great food and atmosphere at a reasonable price.

I Had a great tasty sirloin steak, salad and chips The staff were also very good I recommend it I read a few reviews that were not great recently but I have no complaints

First class bar service. The hotel’s location is great as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The decor is tasteful the staff are first class.

The meal was very poor. The steak was fatty, the peppercorn sauce was watery. The dessert was poor no compote and tasteless cheesecake. Not the standard I would expect. I called to inform them as it was not appropriate at the time as I was on a date. For £93 I would of expected the general manager to offer some form of compensation.

Would have given a much better rating as the food that we received was tasty but we had to keep asking standing up . the staff are more interested in standing and talking in a group. Whilst food arrived in good time my daughter asked for rare steak ended up with well-done : nobody came to ask if anything was ok we had to go find salt . No one asked if we wanted desert ? We did go ask if hot chocolate and old Fashioned could be served in lounge as no service . we were offered a refund but as the dog was going to have the steak we only took the chocolate which was un drinkable and dogs food binned ! Really such a shame
