Strawberry Fayre Cafe - Ashfield

I went to this restaurant for lunch with my mum and son. We ordered pizza and toasties. The food was amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even packed up the leftovers for us to take home. We will definitely be returning, as it was great value for money.

Clean , Covid safe , friendly , with excellent food and fast efficient service . What more can you ask for ? This cafe is a credit to it's staff and management . Great to have vegan options on the menu . The management at Morrisons cafe , next to Kings Mill Hospital , should come here for training !

I always make it a point to visit this fantastic café. The staff is incredibly friendly and hospitable, providing top-notch service each visit. They offer a diverse selection of food, with options for vegetarians and vegans. Personally, I adore their homemade cottage pie - it's absolutely delicious. And for those with a sweet tooth, the cakes, especially the homemade ones, are outstanding. Additionally, they happily welcome dogs and even have a menu specifically for our furry friends.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on Saturday and ordered the cheese and ham toasties. When they arrived, they looked and tasted amazing. The toasties were made with fresh bread, thick slices of gammon ham, and plenty of cheese. The meal also came with a side of salad and coleslaw. The staff were friendly and the experience was definitely worth a visit.

Today (28/11/20)my family and I visited the lovely refurbished cafe and I must say, it was spectacular! We walked in and were greeted by a lovely young lady, I think I caught her name as mia (brunette girl with lovely eyes). The cafe is set out with a one way system and is perfect for the COVID situation. Felt so safe and this is thanks to the staff. The young lady (mia) served us and made our drinks and I cannot say a single bad word about her! She simply couldn’t do enough for us, made us feel so welcome; from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left! She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we wanted/needed. Even though she had a mask on (due to COVID) you could tell she was smiling the whole time! Such a lovely young lady and such a credit to the staff at mill waters! She should be so proud of herself. Her customer service was 10/10. Made our visit to the reservoir worth while. Will definitely be visiting again! Coffee’s hot chocolates were delightful. Made my day. Well done mill waters and especially mia, hopefully see you soon! X
