Have stopped off here a few times now both for lunch early evening meal. Nothing to not like. Good pub food, friendly service just a nice all round pub. Glad we found it nice to hear that it’s family run family (including the dog) friendly too. Bonny Cravat we’ll be back (perhaps next time for a Sunday roast)!

We spent a lovely two week holiday in Woodchurch, and loved every minute of it, but it was spoilt by having lunch at the Bonny Cravat, as what a disappointment. My husband had the Ham, Egg Chips, (chips overcooked and dry, but he said that the ham was lovely. My daughter I had Sausage and Mash,Peas. I had to ask the waitress to return my sausages to the kitchen as they were not cooked, 10 minutes later it returned, looking no better, but i thought that I'd give it a try, only to discover that their middle was not cooked, and in fact cold., we had to ask for gravy as it was suppose to be with the meal, , when it came, it was brown hot water, We left the meal, and when the waitress came, she could see that we had not eaten them, We just asked for the bill, £52.. 2 Sausages ,tiny amount of mash, plus bullet peas, £14.99 in a massive great bowl. Needless to say, we went else where for a decent lunch. But what annoyed me more was their scandalous prices, All the other pubs in the area were lovely, with decent food. My Advice to other people visiting the area is to give this pub a miss.

We live locally to the Bonny Cravat and they were the chosen venue for our wedding party. We met with Liam and Leigha the lovely landlady and landlord and discussed our requirements to see if they could help. They hadn’t managed a wedding before and I have to say there were amazing from start to finish. We had the use of their restaurant for a champagne reception with side garden, we also used the back garden where we had a Marquee and Bouncy Castle. The staff of the Bonny Cravat were out in force to help our day run smoothly and every single person was incredible. The team were so professional, hard working and made the day seamless. Each time we looked up there was a member of staff to hand, they were professionally presented and couldn’t have made a better team. I genuinely think we couldn’t have had a better event if we had gone to a traditional or typical wedding venue. The food was fantastic and plentiful and they catered for every single dietary need. Home made desserts went down a storm and every guest had a brilliant time and enjoyed the food and drinks. The pub catered for all 79 guests which is no easy task. They even made up children’s boxes of food for the little guests. We hope the Bonny Cravat team do more functions and weddings as they are brilliant at it! Thank you so much to the team, we loved every minute and will be eternally grateful. We would love to do it all again. We highly recommend this place for any event or a relaxed meal drinks.

Very friendly welcome, excellent value Sunday lunch, dog made welcome in the dining area under the table. All desserts were home made as well. Would highly recommend.
