However, we had to remind them of our order, which ended up being a meat pasty and chips instead. As vegetarians, this was disappointing. We sent the pasty back and finally received a nice vegetarian one with great chips. The quality of the food was good, but there was a lack of attention to our needs as customers this time. Despite this, we still like the cafe and will come back, but they should work on improving their ordering system for accuracy.
We brought a group of disabled elderly individuals in a minibus for afternoon tea. The tea was fantastic and there was plenty of it, we all had to take leftovers home in doggie bags. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making for a wonderful afternoon in a delightful setting.
Quick stop for tea scone. Scones were very dry, but fortunately there is a microwave so gave thrm a quick zap to soften, but very doughy still, never mind will try another time! Staff very polite, very busy, a bit untidy.
We decided to have coffee and tea here after exploring the garden center. The restaurant was very nice and clean.
Whenever we travel over to Ashford and someone says, So where shall we eat The answer is always, Bybrook Barn A truly wonderful place to share an afternoon with those you love or with friends. I never cease to enjoy both the lovely food on...offer and the delightful service and then to go exploring and we always come home with something useful or beautiful. Lots of love guys.
