We visit Wye Coffee shop once or twice a month, generally on a Saturday, the lady that serves us and the fare is always very good. On this occasion the shop was besieged with cyclists, some demanding that they their orders were dealt with first, one of the cyclists was extremely rude to the staff and made us feel very uncomfortable. We will be back but I hope the offensive cyclist finds somewhere else to apply his offensive behaviour.
Terrible treatment from the owner or boss, aggressive, hostile angry man, behaved like a bouncer at a nightclub. Ok we were lycra clad older cyclists at 1145am on a Saturday, all tables occupied despite us booking ahead. Refused to serve us, no effort to assist, mire or less told us to get out. No customer service, no manners, no politeness, disgraceful
Arrived at 3:20 pm and told no tea available because the machine turned off, a kettle!! But don't worry the flying horse pub down the road has very friendly staff and an excellent cuppa. If you are lucky you get a free chocolate bikkie.
Busy cafe in a beautiful Kent town (the smallest town in Britain) . Warm, friendly with a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommended.
