Amuse Restaurant. - Ashland

Amuse is truly amazing. I tried the black truffle roasted game hen with Italian kale and I loved everything. The dessert though is what I will always remember. It was a very creative dish of wood grilled figs and fresh berries with wild flower honey ice cream. Perfect place for fine dining.

We had the most elegant dinner here right after going to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Be sure and make a reservation because there is not much seating available. The attention to detail here is amazing. The menu has a French influence to it. Our waitress said most items are organic. They serve a nice variety of Oregon and California wines.

This place is for foodies. Excellent presentation, taste, textures, fresh ingredients, outstanding service. Dining room is small, open style. Wine list is contemporary and acceptable for most people, but do not expect '89 Lynch- Bages, etc. I have talked to 50+ people who have dined here and no one has ever been disappointed. I usually bring a bottle of wine and tab is $100 plus per couple.

Menu is limited. i had the knnocki whichIdid not like. No sauce and dry. My wife had the pork chop which she really liked. The shrimp appetizer is really good. They charge for bread.Service was very good.

Lovely outdoor courtyard, food and wine were delicious. sadly closing for the last time tomorrow
