They have foosball too but it's the kind with three keepers not one. Nothing fancy or boutique here folks. They can cook you a Papa Murphy's pizza though while you watch a game and chat with your mates over a Guinness. BTW, the gal bartending was awesome!
“A bunch of Bible-thumpin’, gun-totin’, wild-eyed pistol-wavers.” this was the description given to the people who support the free state of jefferson. A unrealistic and largely unsupported thought of dividing northern California and southern Oregon. This bar has stickers supporting this idea and my friend was threatened with physical violence by an employee named Mike. Avoid this bar if you are not a fellow klan member.
If you like Jameson, this place is for you. Bring cash for pool and juke box.
Disappointing. I decided to walk in in s beautiful Thursday afternoon and found the place empty ,with the exception of a regular enjoying himself. The bartender was on his phone and non responsive until I requested a drink, at which point he pours quick Guinness incorrectly and set it down before getting back on his phone . I found the service and quality to be disappointing , especially because it wasn’t busy . There is an art to being a bar tender most of which is professionalism, courtesy and most important interpersonal skills. Cell phones has no place in the world if hospitality, especially serving the likes of a tourists city like Ashland. It is my hope that the bartender receives proper training and improves upon his presentation to represent the business properly. I should hope the owners reflect on the poor representation of their business at the hands of a bartender who doesn’t really want to be there. I presume the bartender feels it’s just a paycheck and a place to catch up on their messages and missed phone calls. Terrible service .
Popped in on a Saturday (1/29). Met by a young lady bartender who had a chip on her shoulder. Rude, condescending and disrespectful. We tried to engage with some “light” bar banter, but were promptly asked to leave. Bartender missed out on at $100.00 tip. Won’t patronize again.
