Aloha Grill Cafe - Ashland

Delicious! This place has the best poke bowl you'll find this side of Hanauma Bay. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. It's already become a classic in Ashland. Plus, I think they offer free drinks for sunset gatherings with live music on the first Friday of each month. That was the case last Friday when I visited. Thank you!

**The Positives:** The menu is small but offers a fun dining experience. The staff is friendly and engaging, and the prices are quite reasonable. **The Negatives:** Parking can be difficult. The pork was dry, likely due to a recipe that used lean pork cooked in a crockpot with added water. I recommend using a fattier cut of pork and omitting the water for better results. Nonetheless, the flavor was good. As for the beef, it wasn't too bad; it had a bit of gristle, but the sauce was very tasty, and the sesame seeds added an authentic touch to the dish.

One of the best poke bowls in Ashland! I absolutely love it. However, the tables near the grill can get a bit too hot to sit at, though they would be great once the colder weather sets in. The staff is very friendly as well.
