Because of its unassuming exterior, we took a long time to discover La Catrina and we were impressed by the quality of the food. Dishes we have tried have been delicious and distinct. They also make a creditable margarita. Definitely recommended. The food was very bland and it took 3 minutes for the waitress to see us when they were just sitting behind the host table. disappointing the soup looked more like water and very little diced veggies instead of an actual soup. the tamales were very doughy and had very little chicken especially the price! $19 for a bland tamales! and $25 for an unseasoned fajitas! the shrimp was very rubbery and didn’t seem right and the tortillas tasted microwaved! the taco’s presentation was more like flautas. it doesn’t have cilantro and onions! the food was very disappointing. it’s OVERPRICED!!! the service was a little disappointing, but this restaurant needs a lot of work to do Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
