Luna Cafe Mercantile - Ashland

The hotel is fantastic and the cafe was outstanding. They offer a wide variety of delicious food options. Our pizzas, salads, and desserts were all fantastic. The drinks were also great. The unique and cute merchandise for sale was a nice touch. We absolutely loved this place!

I ordered the salmon with orzo salad, and it was absolutely fantastic. The salmon was cooked to medium rare perfection and the flavors in the salad were bold yet balanced. My wife opted for the meatloaf with fingerling potatoes and sautéed vegetables, and she thoroughly enjoyed it.

This places food is amazing. They have a homemade ketchup that tastes so good. Their fries are crispy and enjoyable. Great service here, kind staff who want you to have the best time. Very pretty interior design, as well! Very friendly to kids, as well. Overall pleasing environment. I reccomend Luna Cafe.

Once you figure out their hours, the food is great here. We live locally and come for bakery goods after a lake day, or picnic grab and go food. The hot sandwiches are delicious too. Tempeh Reuben, yumm or a burger. Good coffee drinks too. This cafe is located inside The Ashland Hills hotel. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Luna used to be Top 3 in Ashland. Great quality food and fair price. Still friendly staff and nice atmosphere but food was blah. A thin maybe 4-5ounce patty for a $17 burger. The bun did not taste or look homemade. The $20 chicken and pear salad was standard ingredients, overly vinegary and just blah. This place used to stand out I hope they correct this but for now. I’ll stay away
