Panda Garden - Ashland

The food here is outstanding, with a wonderful balance of flavors. The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is very clean. The staff is friendly and professional, and the service is impressively fast. I highly recommend this place. The number 7 dish has been my favorite for years, and their Chicken Chow Mein is the best in the valley.

I first discovered this restaurant after relocating from Portland to Ashland for college, and I loved it right from my first visit. While the decor might be a bit outdated, the place is always clean, and the owner, Tom, is fantastic. I've consistently enjoyed good food at reasonable prices here. It's great that they don't use MSG, setting them apart from many other Chinese restaurants. Their mar far chicken and shrimp dishes are excellent, and the fried items are always crispy without being greasy. Their fried rice is among the best I've had in the valley and is always served hot. I've been a regular here for years and plan to keep coming back.

In short, I felt nauseous before I even made it a mile down the road. The service was terrible, with nearly an hour wait from the time we arrived until our meals were served. Who serves salad with Chinese food? The egg rolls were basically undercooked dough—just really disappointing cuisine. I should have realized the food quality was lacking when I noticed that everyone around us was ordering American dishes. Overall, this place is a poorly managed, overpriced dive!

As someone from Hawaii, I've experienced a wide variety of Chinese restaurants across the islands. When I discovered this restaurant, I knew I had to give it a try. The prices were reasonable and the food was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend checking it out. The service was excellent as well. Don't miss it!

Fantastic spot! We live in South Ashland and often dine here. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Definitely worth your time and money!
