The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of both red and white wines, including unique blends like the viognier-gewurtztraminer Aromatique and the petite syrah-syrah-pinot noir Stone River Amethyst. I also tried a spicy and exciting tempranillo. I ended up purchasing bottles of all the wines except for the albarino. Overall, it was a lovely spot just steps away from the Main Street sidewalk where you can relax and enjoy some delicious local wines.
I love having a cozy spot in Ashland where I can enjoy delicious wine, meet friendly people, and admire beautiful art on the walls. This restaurant is located in the old Ashland Art Center and is owned by Gil Shelby and their staff who always make you feel welcome. They offer a wide selection of local wines and even have their own tasty red wine that is one of my favorites. The restaurant has plenty of tables spread out for social distancing and they also host regular music events. Whether you're a local or a visitor, you'll always find a mix of people enjoying themselves here.
While waiting to check in to our hotel, we stumbled upon this hidden gem on Main Street in Ashland. The owner, Gill, was friendly and well-versed in all things wine. He even suggested a fantastic dinner spot for us. We couldn't resist and ended up purchasing 8 bottles of wine. Be sure to visit Gill - you won't regret it.
