The Burger Den - Ashland

New owner Phill and his newly hired/trainded staff are turning this place around. When the new sign is erected, the new Menu will come out. In the meantime, the burgers have gotten 300% better and fresher tasting than that in the past by the previous owner. Phil does update posting on Facebook..but should also join Nextdoor...as many folks in Middleton refuse to do anything with Facebook.

Love the patty melt,mozzarella cheese sticks, and onion rings. The staff here are a group of amazing hard workers! I'll be back!!!

I gave a raving review for the Burger Den back in Jan 2018, but sadly with yesterday's experience, I have found that I no longer need to eat there. We ordered 4 burgers (2 bacon cheese, 1 fish and 1 veggie mushroom) and 4 fries; simple order, right? Well, for $50, the burgers were smaller than the previous owner's (smaller bun size), and the ingredients were very skimpy. The condiments were almost non existent on each burger. The veggie mushroom burger was minus any mushrooms at all, and sported a tomato slice, instead! And did I mention that there was a 30 minute wait for the very underwhelming burgers? The curly fries and sweet potato fries were good but it's kinda hard to mess those up since they come pre packaged, right? We went to the Burger Den with great hopes, and left feeling like it was the last time we would ever go there. I'm very sorry to say that the new owners have not kept up the Middleton tradition that we had come to love.

The Grilled Cheese Sandwich was made to order and fresh and hot when I got it. The cheese was still hot and melted to perfection. My husband got the Philly Cheese Steak and he was pleasantly surprised by how much meat and veggies were in the sandwich and he ate every bite of it. This is NOT fast food, sitting under warming lamps, it is made fresh to order on every order. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get! Highly Recommend! If you sit outside they bring your food out to you, nice touch!
