Squire Shoppe Bakery - Ashtabula

I absolutely loved the Hocus Pocus cookies for Halloween! Their iced cookies never fail to impress. This is the best spot in Ashtabula for fresh donuts and coffee in the morning.

The staff here is extremely friendly, and I always leave with more than I intended to buy. This establishment has been a staple in our community for over 50 years, providing great support to locals. Plus, their pizza shells are the best for making homemade pizzas!

We are truly fortunate to have such a wonderful establishment in our community. I've been visiting this bakery since I was just a little kid—probably around three years old! It’s definitely something special. The cookies are incredible, with their light frosting and soft texture. I've been curious about the aftertaste for years; I can’t quite pin it down. Is it cinnamon, or perhaps nutmeg? Whatever it is, it's delightfully rich. My dad has always loved their donuts, and I tried one today—it was fantastic. Still, the cookies are on another level entirely. I truly hope this place never closes. It’s a magical bakery and a genuine treasure for our community.

The best bakery around. Everything is made in the shop, EXTREMELY well priced, and is very delicious. They have a huge variety of options and even tables to eat in. Super cheap, and super good. You cannot pass that up. Definitely recommend

Squire shoppe has the best doughnuts in Ashtabula! I grew up on them! Their cakes are out of this world. My wedding cake was made by Val. we frozen the top layer for our first anniversary, and it was delicious! Most recently purchased the holiday cookie kits my family enjoyed had to get them tasty doughnuts while I was there ?
