Wheelchair accessibility: Just a heads up, the place was built in 1837, so there are steps at the front. It might not be very accommodating unintentionally since it’s a historical site.
This place is definitely a local spot. When we walked in, we weren't greeted and had to wait there for about seven minutes. It seems like you're expected to seat yourself, but there's no sign indicating that, and none of the employees felt inclined to say anything. Several staff members glanced at us while we were waiting, but we ultimately had to approach a bewildered employee to ask for help. The food was reminiscent of cafeteria quality, the service was lacking, and it's clear that there are management issues here.
Our kids recently moved to Asheville, and we visited them last night for dinner at this restaurant. The food was fantastic! The wings, sauces, fries, and onion rings were all homemade and incredibly tasty. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. An outstanding experience! Highly recommend!
Haven’t eaten here in a few months but it is so delicious! I highly recommend getting wings with the Cody sauce and the Tiki Burger. The best restaurant in Central Ohio and even Southern Ohio. This place is a lot better than the Scioto Ribber in Portsmouth! I know it’s not the same genre of food but that’s how far I go to say that this is the best restaurant south of Columbus!
Too many buzzing around, but everything else was spot on.
