People come from far away to get this ice, and we can absolutely understand. The environment next to the canal will be the water barrier system so you can see boats rising or lower to the next lake is super cool.

Oh, what can I say to be really nice place for a walk along the river or to sit and watch boats pass the channel from time to time when bridge has to be increased. The ice in this place is amazing, the problem is always a long queue for the ice, but in fact wait. Make sure you taste your favorite taste, I loved the pistachio aroma.

Great ice cream. All the flavors we tasted were excellent. I wish I could take this home. It is worth paying for a visit to Vääääksy only.

Here on ice while you walk in the park. Friendly service and delicious ice cream. But a word of caution... do not sit on an open/uncovered table unless you want to risk becoming a target for the countless birds in the trees.... Just to say:

Small cafe kiosk in a beautiful setting next to the Vääksy channel. Watch the bridge open for boats to swim through while sipping a cappuccino. The big cruise boats every few hours are a sight as they fill up the entire channel. Make sure you try the ice cream here! Its hand made and oh so delicious.
