Coffee Tasty - Assen

On April 28, 2021, there were available seats at this restaurant. The coffee is good and the cheesecake is delicious. Although they don't serve meals anymore due to competition in the city center, it's still a great spot to enjoy coffee and cake. They also have a nice selection of drinks and desserts.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I immediately noticed an allergy symbol behind the vegan sandwich on the menu, which led me to believe it might not be vegan. After inquiring, I was informed that the symbol was only in case someone wanted to substitute white bread for the standard brown bread, which is indeed vegan. Both my wife and I ordered the vegan sandwich and the vegan grilled sandwich (tosti), each with its own unique flavor profile. The sandwich was sweet and fresh, and I really enjoyed it. My wife had the tosti, which was savory and spicy. They are both distinct sandwiches, so whether you're in the mood for something sweet and fresh or savory and spicy, you have great options to choose from.
