Restoran, Avgustin - Astana

Enjoyed a few beers at Restoran, Agustin, or Augustine Restaurant. Prices are slightly higher here than other places I visited in Astana, however the service was very good and the interior decor of this restaurant is lovely. I didn't have time to eat here so cannot comment on the food quality.

Excellent restaurant with delicious food. A good selection of beers from different countries and for all tastes. Very reasonable prices and decent service. Surprisingly, there is live music with a pretty good repertoire. We'll be back for the atmosphere, food and beer.

Although a proper restaurant, when sat outside this place actually has a really nice pub vibe. The tables are large and undercover so suitable in any weather for watching the world go by. Of course the location is great, right by some the cities main sights yet still being somewhat out of the way to mean it’s quiet. The staff couldn’t speak the best of English but were all friendly and welcoming still. Even when they didn’t understand a question they wanted to help and ensured I didn’t feel out of place. There’s a good drinks menu with choice not easily found in the rest of the city and a proper German pub style range of food. Drinks were brought quickly from inside and there wasn’t a long wait for food either. I chose one of the sausage options, Nuremberg sausages, which came with five small pork items, a bowl of cabbage and some gorgeous hot mustard. It was really nice as a snack, presented well on a wooden board despite being only around 3,000 KZT. The member of staff attending to the outdoor tables was really attentive and efficient but despite this you’re left with a control button for requesting assistance. I never got a chance to use it but it’d ensure during busy occasions you’re never left alone. Overall it was a nice place to relax with a drink and tasty snack. I’d certainly return and if you’re wanting to chill outside it’s a rare pleasure in the area.

A simple place with a comfortable atmosphere. prices are acceptable. Good beer. services are not obsessive. The sausages are bigger than the sausages... salad, three sausages, a glass of beer and you're exhausted. They're making 15 minutes of maps without problem. 10 per cent service included in any case

A nice place for some food and drinks. A bit overpriced though. Interior is a pub-like. They brew their own sort of beer. Not bad. But they need to review their price policy.
