Arepas Grill - Astoria

Big portions but no flavor! We got a chicken arepa and a pork arepa and both were so bland and dry. 2 stars because the yuca fries and green sauce were great.

FRAUD! Everyone don't go to this place, they charge extra taxes. Each item has been added tax already, and at the bottom they still charge tax again. Plus they put directly 20% tips on your bill to pay. Been there before cuz everything else is fine. Butdefinitely not coming anymore. Don't be fooled, check the bill before paying. But they will still try to give you some weirdreason, at the end they will still have u paid the doubled tax and the 20% tips (or whatever percent they want). Just when Ithought ppl from Venezuela were nice. What a shame .

Husband and I used to eat here often. Tried them yesterday again and we were very disappointed. We got 2 arepas, not only were they super bland and didn't taste fresh, but the cheese in both was so sour. It was really gross, you can smell the cheese, idkhow they didn't catch it.

The food looked very good but the taste was a little bland. Everything was served in disposable plates and cups. They had sauces that paired well with the food but seamed to be sitting out for long periods of time. They had a band the day we went and it wasvery fun.

Authentic Venezuelan food. Great food and drink at affordable prices. Friendly staff.
